Two part UK cycle touring documentary

This is an interesting bit about touring and also shows the UK as it was in the 1970s...very nostalgic for me.
Nice use of Carradice capes and saddlebags is shown in part 2

Thanks, I liked the bits with him cycling into a Scottish gale with the rain beating down and then
unloading his saddelbag to brew up a quick cup of tea. Also, not a cycling helmet in sight.

That brought back many happy memories for me and I'm obliged to you for posting these. Touring in Scotland has changed but those empty roads featured can still be found. The rain can be found also and that is unlikely to change.

That guy has got it figured out, priorities and all. Promised himself not to get bossed around by anyone for the next 20 years. I made a similiar promise to myself April 10th 2008. Should have done it sooner. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
