I am looking for a cheap way to move my tent and maybe my sleeping pad up front. This rack seems like a cheap way to do this. But will it work? Looks a little small. I have emailed for dimensions.

Yes I have one, the size of the platform is 6 inches by 8.5 inches. I would not put much weight on it. I would caution you on buying one off of Ebay. I heard that these are seconds. This is a nashbar rack and is available from them. Should be fine for a tent, I threw a 12 pack on mine to try it out and it was fine but I wouldn't carry that much weight all day on it.

I just ordered one of those, hasn't arrived yet tho, so no direct experience.
Those racks are on sale at Nashbar right now, $7.99. So, it might be cheaper/easier to buy a new one from them than to get an ebay one. Especially if you get something else in the same order.

3 months late on this thread, but I've got one of those racks and the bag made for it. On my most recent weekend tour, I loaded it up with all of my bike specific stuff that normally goes in my wedge plus a few extra tubes, the battery for my lights, and my U-lock. It came in around 10 lbs. and was fine. I was going to put my tent and another small bag on there. What I did was pull the stakes and poles out and use a compressor girdle on the rest of it. The tent and other bag fit just fine and the poles stuck out just a little bit longer than the rack. With the tent being compressed so small, I ended up just throwing it in a pannier and using the nashbar bag to hold my tubes, tools, lock, light battery, etc.

It's your call, I have one, and it feels pretty cheap. I use it a support for my handlebar bag, but I think long miles with real weight on it would be a bad thing.

My light tourer has a carbon fork so I'm a little limited on the amount I can carry up front. So it works fine for me. I wouldn't be putting more than 15 lbs or so on it.
