Miserable Headwinds? Eastern Europe

I recently finished a 3 day tour of the Cali central coast riding from Santa Maria/Guadalupe to Monterrey/Salinas. Logistically it was a little bit easier to ride South to North, and I didn't consider the winds. We still had fun, but I really would have planned to do the trip in reverse if I had known about he wind, as there were a few sections where the riding really sucked.

I'm planning on riding from St. Petersburg, Russia southwest through the balitcs, across Poland to Berlin, south to Athens passing through Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria. I'm doing the trip this August through November, so weather-wise it works out. Does anyone know of any stretches in there that will be really miserable, like on the same order of what we faced on rte 1? It never got over 10 knots for us, but at times it was very consistent, and kind of sucked. I can deal with it for a day or two, but don't want to face weeks of headwinds. Looking at some data on windfinder.com, it looks like I'll run into the biggest potential problems heading south through the baltics and then West through Poland to Berlin. The rest of the trip looks ok.

Anyone have any experience with winds on those routes?
