A link to my journal for my current Oregon - Idaho tour

I am 15 days into a 26 day ride from Newberg, OR (a bit south of Portland) to Jackson Hole, WY. I am currently in the tiny town of Crouch, ID resting.

They have a very nice library here and I have updated my text-only journal so that it is now current. Here is the link to the journal:

Tomorrow I have lots of climbing as I have to go over Banner Pass at 7100 feet (Crouch is at 3000 feet). It is very hot but the views are getting very pretty after days of desert riding.

I have taken hundreds of pictures but won't add them until I get back home, some time in October.

Looking forward to your pictures! I bookmarked your site as I have been planning a similar trip from Portland.
