You either find long distance cycling alone okay or you don't. For my first long distance trip I advertised in a bike club and got 3 people to go with me, problem solved. For the past 10 years I continue to do the same thing and have cycled with about 15 different companions, to me it makes for a better trip. For future trips find a companion, you will be surprised at how many cyclists there are out there also looking for someone to travel with.
