Any good ones on the web? I remember a guy posting this a while back...

https://mikebeauchamp.com/crosscanada/index.php

He had the full film at one point, but I can't seem to find it now.

Any way, it's a good watch.

Right on, I've been following your blog for a while. It's excellent and I envy you guys.

I do have one question though- why do you choose to use skateboarding helmets? Those things have very little ventilation.

I have a small, selfish, request: for those posting videos, could you let us know what camera you used?

Howdy. Thanks for following! They're actually bike helmets by Nutcase. There's some safety studies that suggest a round helmet is safer because there are no points to snag during a fall/slide situation (the reason why motorcycle helmets are roundish).

The main reason is because they are fun. We don't consider ourselves roadies and wanted something just a little goofy. The helmets did run hot during the summer, but that's actually an upside now during the winter. Helps keep the heat in.

Best,
Russ

A group of guys riding in South America for a cause called "Ride for the Trees", bringing attention to dwindling rainforests. 27 videos, 10,000 miles, through 13 countries. Good videos.
