If you could tour anywhere, where would you go?
I really want to bike the entire west coast of the Americas. From Alaska, through Canada, down the US coast, down through Mexico, through the South American Countries all the way to southern tip of Argentina and Chile.

The moon. It looks really scenic from the photos. I think the reduced gravity would make hill climbing so much easier. And the lack of a significant atmosphere would make for stunning views.

The four corners is a cool place, I have through parts around the four corners, Moab, Flagstaff, Canyon lands, Durango, etc. Very Beautiful places around there.

Anywhere? Everywhere! If I had financial support that would allow me to quit working and just ride I'd take up nomadic life on a bike like some other people did. Then I would ride everywhere, the whole globe year after year.

To be a bit different from the Dream Tour thread which was started a bit before this one, and to which I had a slightly different answer ...
Given that I don't have a magic wallet of neverending money ...
I think next up on the list is a tour, starting here in Australia, hopping over to New Zealand, hopping over to the Vancouver area, making our way over to the Maritimes, and then a hop over to Europe to do the North Sea Route. Or something like that.
All this won't start until late 2010 or early 2011. We'll see how it goes when we get there.

For me the four corners of the US, i.e. the perimeter, as opposed to the Four Corners of Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico (been there on a cross country tour). Actually though, my definition of a perimeter tour would be to hug the border within a specified distance, say 50 to 100 miles. I have heard that just going to the four "cornermost" towns of the USA is a motorcycle epic trip.

having enough monetary security and fortitude to live on the bike 10 months a year, and back to some hovel for a couple of months to recuperate.
I'd tour the american west and blue highway it. i like america despite all its flaws. of course europe or any place else would be a fantastic trip too. I've got an SNS coupled bike, just need to take a few plane trips with it... head off to new zealand with a few thousand quid....
I doubt i've got much stock of either but its nice to consider the possibilities. my wild and wandering days were in my teens and twenties. Hopefully being able to tour after retirement.
