Differences in 2009 2010 Novara Randonee Geometry

So the new models are out and almost everything is the same. Perhaps the only difference is the color and the price since the 2009 is "old".

So are there any real differences in geometry between these two? The 2009 catalog has actual measurements, but the 2010 catalog has gone to the "N-fit" system where "all you need is your height" to choose the right bike size.

Does anyone know any real info or do I need to find a 2010 and take a tape measure to it?

Thanks

I noticed that today. My first thought was "sure". You need more than just height to fit a bike, at least for touring. My guess is that REI has had an influx of people buying bikes that are new to it. This probably resulted in many returns because the bikes didn't fit. Thus they are trying to simplify the fitting system.

How is this any different from what they offered before? I had to swap out the handlebars on my 2008 - I'm short and stocky, and the bars were too narrow. I also had to get a longer stem so I could reach the bars comfortably.

This is why it's a great idea to go into Rei and get it fit like you should with any new bike purchase. If this isn't possible I would email REI for real measurements. They are pretty good about helping answer your questions.
