The seatpost clamp was actually the first (and thus far, only) thing to go on my Aurora - I had just had it for a couple of weeks and was tweaking it. I pulled off to the side of the road, went to adjust it slightly and overtightened it. The head of the bolt snapped right off. Unlucky.
Thankfully, my saddle is very low so it wasn't terrible, but the last 15km were far less fun than the first 20.

So I'm not sure what the name is for it, but whatever tape paramedics carry to tape people up works well on bikes too!

Once on a long day ride I managed to lose my fender bolt. Instead of a zip tie, one of fellow riders was a paramedic and had paramedic tape on him. We wrapped that around where the bolt would have gone, and it stuck amazingly well. In fact it stuck so well that I was lazy and probably left that setup for about a month before bothering to get a new bolt (which I was then sure to get the ny-lock nut for instead so it wouldn't work its way loose on crappy roads)
So I'm not sure what the name is for it, but whatever tape paramedics carry to tape people up works well on bikes too!
