Annyone mounted a handlebar bag while using interrupter brake levers?
I run Cane Creek cross tops on my touring rig. Was wondering if anyone had advice for using a handlebar bag with these?

Try tipping them down like the picture above.. Most bike shops set them up stupid high.

I have an Ortlieb bar bag mounted. It is not a problem. The brakes are angled downward, though, as others have suggested (though this was done as part of the original bike fitting, long before the bag was even considered).

I've also had mine set up with Ortlieb bag. Though after re-cabling, I took them off. Ortlieb also an extra long bag mount. It's meant for butterfly/trecking bars, but can be used to clear the brakes; IMO totally not needed.

Handlebar Bags
I've found that there's a more compelling reason than limited handlebar real estate to not use a handlebar bag. This is another situation where it makes sense to move weight down. My bike is easier to handle since I got a front rack with low rider mounts and a top space. Instead of a handlebar bag, I carry a rack bag, effectively shifting the weight of that bag downward a foot, providing more room for snacks and such, and opening room on my bars for light, cell phone & GPS. It works for me.
