New England tour?
Greetings. Anyone know of a good two to four day tour originating in the Boston area? Was thinking of a route that would follow the coast up into NH, Maine, and then loop back down, but figured before re-inventing the wheel I would ask you guys. Thanks in advance. Zach

Are you planning on riding up US1?

Boston to Portsmouth, NH is at least a two hour drive by car. That would be the equivalent of 2 days on the bike, unless you are a very strong and fast rider and stop only to eat.
I have no real suggestions except to check maps and set a realistic goal for distance. 50 to 75 miles for a day, coupled with sight seeing is a fair estimate.

Sorry, should have been more specific with my post. I live in Manchester by the Sea which is well north of Boston. My idea was to be able to do a small loop that would go through NH briefly into ME and then loop back down...just was not sure what, if any, would be my best route. Route 1 is deadly, but is there an alternative for sea coast travel?
