Travelling through British Columbia

Is there any real difference from the #7 vs #1? Has anyone who has done this ride found either one better compared to the other? They both look pretty good in regards to shoulders.

The #1 is illegal for cyclists in spots. Stick to the Barnett(#7A) then the Lougheed (#7) till Hope. You can check out David Cambon's detailed getting out of Vancouver on CGOAB here...
