Ireland round trip, Giant FCR 2
Hi,
I'm planning on doing a trip around Ireland all along the coast line.
I'm having trouble deciding what bike I should buy for this,
I can pick up a Giant FCR 2 for quite cheap would this be a good choice?
I plan on camping so I guess I'll be carrying a fair bit of weight.
Don't have much money so cheap is the word!
Should I get the FCR??
Cheers
Andrew

The Giant FCR2 has std road caliper brakes. This will limit your tyre width, esp with mudguards to abut 25mm.
For camping and Irish lanes you need at least 28mm, pref 32mm.
If you are looking for a good , small, ultralight tent, check out the Gelert Solo.
