Anyone doing the TOSRV?

Hello all,

I just got my registration info back from TOSRV (Tour of the Scioto River Valley) on May 11 & 12. I am rather excited about the whole thing, but have yet to hook up with anyone in the touring club here to see if anyone else is going. The tour starts in Columbus, Ohio in the states.

I would like to ride with someone, and was curious if anyone here on BikeForums is going to be doing the ride?

Winter has arrived again here in Northeast Ohio, and there are two inches of snow on the ground. Hhrrmpphht. Back to the fluid resistance trainer - bummer.

Sorry about your weather!!!! I'm leaving for Bike Florida this Sat.....it's in the 80's this week. (I'm definitely rubbing it in)

I'd love to do the TOSRV. I've heard it's a great ride. I can't afford the registration fee this year though, maybe next year.

Beowoulfe-

Oh, but how sweet those summer days will be when they finally arrive. Kinda like the old Heinz ketsup commertial "Anticipation, keeps makin' me wait".

Moose-

Do you by chance ride with the CTC - or do you belong to any clubs up here?

Moose 03-21-02 09:52 PM

I do not currently belong to any clubs, though I'm looking into the Stark County Bike Club. What/where is the CTC?

Moose 03-21-02 10:09 PM

Aha, the CTC-Cleveland Touring Club, right? I am planning on riding in the May 5th ride from Northfield Center.

Yep Moose,

Cleveland Touring Club is the one. I'm going to be doing the Black Swamp tour in Bowling Green on May 4th, and was up in the air about what to do on the 5th, though I am doing quite a few with CTC before then. I'll check out the Stark sight, thanks for the link - I am a wee bit technologically challenged, and haven't figured out how to insert a link.
