Do you carry a lock when you're touring and if so, what do you use?

The weight of a heavy cable lock is noticeable, but the peace of mind it brings has made it worth taking so far.

Clearly you weren't around a couple of weeks ago.

I prefer to have a bunch of electrical wires hanging from one of my bags and a speaker that makes a loud ticking noise. By the time I get back to my bike it's always surrounded by cops.
