Bike Touring in Southwest USA

We are thinking of visiting the Southwest USA and may stay at the Phoenician in Scottsdale. We have gone on a few planned tours and are 3/5 to 4/5 difficulty riders. We are looking for any information that people may have about road touring routes in that area. We would station at the Phoenician and do half or full days rides. We want to do this as a couple or family so if anyone has cue sheets or advice can you post this?

Also maybe in the Death Valley area and Furnace Creek near Las Vegas. We would be interested in details about scenic and safe road touring.

Really appreciate any help in this or any other areas with advice.

Can't give recommendations on rides but can say the property is quite nice and you will enjoy its amenities.
