first tour on kona sutra

I did my first tour on my Kona Sutra and was impressed. It handled all the hills carrying the weight I had on it very well. I did the southern half of lake champlain in three days. My first day doing 70 miles and then 60 and 95 miles respectively on my second and third days.

What year is your Sutra?

And if you used rear panniers, did you have any issues with heal strikes?

Thanks, Gil

I biked twice in the Lake Champlain area this summer. A 2 day jaunt with teenage kids and friends on the islands, and in Aug, came up from down near Lake George back up to Quebec.
Pretty area, along the islands, very nice family friendly roads, respectful cars, reasonable shoulders. Nice going along the water, farms. Just a nice place to ride.

and wow 95 miles, or nearly 160 klicks, quite a day!
