Bayeux, Normandie, France

In front of the Normandie D-Day Museum in Bayeux, nothing is getting past this monster (the tank I mean)!
The Bike Friday Diamond Llama (fat boi edition) is holding up well, 6 weeks on the road.
The D-Day commemoration (80th anniversary) rocked, I was mostly in the Sword and Juno beach areas on the 6th of June.
They have a wonderful "
municipal" campground at Bayeux, only 13 Euros a night. And just a short, delightful walk to the town center.

The Abbey Church in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England. Quite a striking structure, about 900 years old.

Cathedral, Hereford, Herefordshire, England. This shot was taken minutes after England beat Switzerland in the Euros (Soccer) tournament, late evening. With my Bike Friday Diamond Llama.

Local test run of the $248 Ozark Trail G.1 Explorer with a bikepacking setup. It handled the modest load well. Will be going on an overnight soon. Wondering if my 50-something knees will be ok with the 30 x 28 low gear on the hills. There's only one way to find out...
