I am slowly adding components to my Fargo.

Swapped out a stem to raise the bar above the seat.

Added fenders, bells, blinky light and a rear rack.

I added some foam in the Bike Box 2 to cushion my D700, 24-120/4.

Still waiting on my frame bag and front minimalist rack.

This is from my first real tour. Sort of wish I had put front panniers on, as it was a tad back heavy, especially on some of those big hills.

I am thinking about replacing my canti brakes with V brakes like I see on your bike. What levers did you use? Nice rig by the way. Don

I'm really starting to dig the Fargo. Nice and classy build! Time to start saving my pennies.

WOW, is that fixed or freewheel? I just mapped Half Moon Bay to Big Sur and it says 12 hrs via bike. I can't imagine with just one gear....is it pretty flat? What is your gear ratio on the schwinn? (I ask b'c I just built a fixed 39T x 16T Fuji

Is that a WTB Woodchipper? How do you like the brakes so high on the drops? I have a set of mtn drops and they're usually much more comfortable in the extensions.

How's the thudbuster also? Thinking about one myself. Mine setup is/will be with a Vassago Fisticuff as an all arounder.

Handlebar is a Salsa Woodchipper. When my LBS built up the bike, they looked at a Salsa blog to locate the brakes. They seem comfortable. The thudbuster works great with the Brooks saddle.

hahaha right on. Its always more motivation when people say things are impossible, to do them only to find out your having the time of your life.
