Swapping DT shifters out for bar end shifters

I normally hang out in the C&V forums, but I've been lurking in here lately as I work on my vintage touring build. I have a very nice 1988 Schwinn Voyageur that I'm in the process of installing racks and fenders on. It has a nice fit to it and the only real issue I've got are the DT shifters - I don't have a problem, in general, with down tube shifters (all of my road bikes have them), but I prefer bar ends for touring. The '88 Voyageur has Shimano braze-on shifter levers. If I swap these out for bar ends, I'm going to need to replace the shifter levers with cable stops. Any idea which cable stops will work here? I've got a line on a pair of Ultegra Double Barrel cable stops which look like they'd fit the bill, but I'm not sure. I felt pretty certain someone in this forum would have made a similar swap, so I'm looking for a little guidance. (I'm a pretty competent wrench btw, and have rebuilt many, many vintage road bikes, so I'm not leary about doing the work - I'd just like to wind up with the correct component.)

Thanks!

Yes, to use bar ends you'll need to replace the shifters with cable stops. FWIW, new Shimano bar ends come with cable stops.

You know, I put so much of my focus into "period correct" components for my vintage bikes that I never for a moment even thought about that very obvious solution! Thanks for keeping me grounded!
