Any tourers from Southern Illinois?

Looking for others for riding short tours, sub-24, day rides etc.
All my current friends are speed demon riders.

No help to you, but I'm from west Central Illinois...Peoria area. Tourer, ex-racer, Tandem rider, and Triplet rider. I have slowed down to the touring pace.

Northern IL, more like western Chicago metro area. I'm off road and on road but also at a touring pace.

Mostly N. St. Louis area/Madison Co. but I do get over to the Tunnel Hill Trail about once/year. Great River Road between Grafton and Alton is my most frequent trail ride, with occasional rides to the arch.

East central IL here, but I spend a lot of time in southern IL touring most years. Have done the Tunnel Hill trail many times but also spend many days riding between state parks and bodies of water as they are so numerous. Riding around Rend Lake near you of course has some nice areas as well. Agree with sknhgy, on the Great River road, excellent.
