camping in Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria? any tips?

this would be along the route of the Iron Curtain Trail, more or less following the border of the countries listed above. Does anyone have any experience camping in these areas/countries that could give us some clue of what to expect? We've used the Bikeline guides in the past and they have great maps and the map would have a little campsite marker so you could easily judge whether this was the last one for awhile or if you could push another 10-20k because there were several more coming up. We are hesitant to set out on this route without knowing the availability of camping thru this region. We're also not so big on stealth camping because it seems with that mode of travel one is trying to stay "out of sight" and therefore missing out on some of the cultural opportunities.

any tips or insights would be helpful
thanks

Here is a camping guide to Croatia: https://www.campingcroatia.net/

Here is a camping guide to Hungary: https://www.eurocampings.co.uk/en/europe/hungary/

Use google to find other sites for camping.
