I is thinking about investing in one of these for my,,,,,,Kitchen,,,,in my BOB trailer,,,does any body know, if they work ok on kerosene??? I got lots of kerosene,,,,,

I have run mine on K-1 it does fine, but gets a bit sooty and needs more frequent cleaning. Also take a look at the Primus Omni Fuel, I have heard some good things about it. The MSR doesn't simmer well, it can be done, but you have to learn how to do it.

Just put the K jet in, and it's fine. MSR's 'dragonfly' has a K jet included too.

The MSR Whisperlite International is hard to beat. It will burn Kerosene very well as well as diesel and jet fuel, if you switch out the jets (easy to do) you can burn unleaded and whitegas too. They work great

THANKS YALL,,,,I got one, cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$,,,,but I had to have extra tank too,,,,,anyhow it didn't come with a different jet that I saw, I plan on getting intimate with it tomorrow Mine is the WHISPERLITE and it has a shaker thingy???
I will shop for a K Jet.....
The tanks fit in them bottle cages on the back off BOB. I may seat belt em in,,,,,, but this looks a hole lot neater than that 4 burner kitchen stove I used to haul.

Did you buy a Whisperlite or the Whisperlite INTERNATIONALE? The regular Whisperlite is white gas only. The Internationale is the multi fuel.
