Route Suggestions

I am looking for a bike packing type route somewhere near Ohio. I have been doing some research and have a few ideas but would like any personal feeedback if possible. My bike is an LHT with 26" wheels and I have a set of Duremes so I wouldn't have a prob with a mix of on and off road riding. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from anyone who has some advice.

Have you considered any of the marked PA bike routes?

No I haven't looked at PA routes, any suggestions? I will be checking it out this morning.

I should probably clarify as to what I mean near Ohio also. Surrounding states are definitely in my search criteria and I live on the Amtrak route so even parts of New York are easily doable.

Thanks for the reply Neil.

iforgotmename, I used to go to Columbus OH quite a bit. I'd explore by car some bike routes for the unlikely event I'd have enough time to take the bike, sadly that didn't happen.

I boxed in an area roughly Dublin to the south and west, Waldo to the north and Hoosier reservoir to the east.

PA Bike Route A is the closest to you, running from Erie to the Maryland border.
