Cue Sheets with sound

Hey Everyone,

I know there's a post on here already, but it was awhile ago, and didn't really answer what I'm thinking.

I'm wondering if there are any apps (particularly droid) that will read a cue sheet to me as it comes up. Kind of like the GPS on my phone, but with a route I can put in all by myself, rather than having to choose from one of the routes the GPS is telling me to use. Sometimes they're not the safest, or if I KNOW there is a smarter way to go.

I downloaded an app called...CUE SHEETS, and I made a cue sheet at ridewithgps. I can download it to my phone, and see it with the app, but it won't TELL me what to do. I don't feel like having to fiddle around with my phone or a piece of paper. I really don't want to buy a GPS for my bike, don't have the funds right now.

It's not just a laziness thing, it's more of an I'm not great at navigating and I miss turns all the time thing.

Anyway, lemme know what yas got!

Thanks,
Matt

GPS on a smart phone will chew through your battery in a few hours.

Garmin cycling-specific GPS's will have "courses" that include turn-by-turn instructions and beeps, and have significantly longer battery times (e.g. 12-15 hours). It's a much better option, though you'd still have to charge it every night.
