Only got a short ride today.(it's 1st) but will get out this weekend for some miles. So far I love it. Fits great and rides very smooth. I have not weighed her yet but she is heavy!

Have to agree about the white tape. But grungy dirty white tape has a certain appeal, also. :-)

true, I've got a 26" wheeled LHT and loaded it up with a 35#bag of cat food and loaded panniers on the front and on the back a wide milk crate loaded with three grocery bags and a big pack of paper towels. Left the other set of panniers at home. There's a good reason the LHT is heavier than a road bike.

I'd put brown bar tape to replace the white when it inevitably gets dirty, and match the Brooks.

I have one bike with white bar tape. I don't worry about keeping the tape pristine, but Clorox wipes do a good job of removing stains. I once got the tape messy after my chain dropped mid-ride, but the wipes took every bit of the mess offf.

For your bike, brown tape would look nice to coordinate with your saddle.

Uh, nice but, eh, why do people post their bikes without specs? I prefer to know what's compatible.

+1, would love to know the key specs

ALSO: Don't weigh her! What you dont know won't hurt your legs on a climb...

How do you like the Cane Creek brakes, I am thinking of upgrading the brakes on my LHT and looking for suggestions.

BIG improvement over the stock brakes. The Cane Creek has cartridge pads. They are smooth and stop great.Comes with Swiss Stop brake pads. I found them on Ebay. Check your local shop for prices also.

campylover, i've got a Tubus Cargo like yours but had an extra set of lower rails brazed on about 2" below the top rail. Makes the whole rack kind of pricey but they're useful. Also added a short section of black plastic hosing, 3/8"ID?, connecting the two forward upturned rails. Not sure how practical it is but I just don't like the upturned ends.
