Klickfix and Ortlieb handle bar bags?
 

Hi guys,

Just about to order two of these but wanted to confirm that they will work for our bikes. We have Bike Friday New World Tourists [or are going to get :)], and the Ortlieb handle bar bags. Would these work?

Would prefer not to mount on the handlebar, as that is a pain to remove every time you need to pack the bikes.


NEW CADDY HORIZONTAL MOUNT
This is for all Dahon bikes which do not have the frame mount. Clamps to any tube with a diameter from 25 mm to 36 mm. It works really well on the handlepost OR on the seatpost. This adapter makes the use of the Shopper or the Doggy a breeze as it has enough clearance.

Mrs Tourers ortlieb bar bag (compact, but I am pretty sure they all have the same mount) mounts just fine to the klickfix bracket that came with my altura bag. Hope this helps.

Ortlieb bags fit KF brackets, but Ortlieb brackets wont take Klick fix mount bags.

But, with a stubby threadless stem a short piece of 1"tube,
and the Ortlieb mounts that came with the bag would mount lower..

I believe the tube for the BF steering mast is 9/8", so compatible.
