just finished first NZ tour

My buddy and i just finished a 3 month tour of New Zealand we had to cut it short by a month cause i really sprained my ankle while rock climbing but it was still great. 2400 miles and a bunch of new friends later i feel great and want to keep this up!

I'm jealous... I spent a semester studying in New Zealand a couple years ago. I bought a beater bike for going to the grocery store but I wish I would of had a proper ride. Someday I'll be back.

Is that Arthur's Pass? Did you have to walk? I did. Can't wait to see & hear more. :)

yep arthur's pass, it's a 16% grade and i did not walk. it was a small goal of mine to not walk, i just had to stand pedal for about a k

I'll bet you had a brilliant time. I did a three month tour of NZ in 1994 and I still bore people (those who'll listen) with tales of what a great place it is to ride a bike.

There, I've just done it again!

Happy days..................

Nice job! It's a goal of mine not to walk as well - in that case, I failed. :)
