Some of you might remember a thread I posted about my mom's and my trip through Washington state, into Oregon. We had a lot of fun, she wants to ride into California this spring.

She did really well, her bike was a road bike we modified a bit to make it work. It was a bit big for her. We finally got a nice bike put together for her.

She loves it, can't wait for spring. We installed a surly nice rear rack and some planet bike fenders.

I just wanted to thank the crew at New West Cycle for the build, great job. Ed at Mighty Riders for the fitting session and the frame, and Rainbow Powder Coating for the powder job.

She is really stoked. The pics should have been taken outside, indoor light does not show the real color. Frame/fork is a surly LHT, 42cm, 26" tires.

My GF is 5'. I bought her a 42 cm LHT with 26". No problems whatsoever.

I never would have guessed it was a LHT. Looks great. Trim those little fender struts in front.

That 30t 3rd chainring can me replaced with something smaller.. and should be..

yea chop off that front mudguard strut, ... danger of crashing
with foot or toeclip overlap is increased , hitting that.

Beautiful bike! I have a 42cm LHT, an old one, the sage green color. My toe might hit the fender, but it has never been a problem.
