B17 and a thudbuster, or B66

Well I ended up getting my Fargo, and got the 2, which I didn't realize had a thudbuster. I ride a B17 on all my other bikes, but before I ordered the bike I got a great deal on a B66, so now I am not sure which way to go? I think a thudbuster and a b66 are a bit too much. Anyone try both before, and have an opinion? I've never done a thudbuster, or a sprung seat, but since I plan on mainly gravel or off road touring I thought one or the other would be a good idea.

I ride a thudbuster and B17 on the tandem ... and I like that combination. I've never tried a B66 so can't comment on it.

I think the springs of a B66 are so firm that you'd never appreciate their benefit when combined with a CC TB.

Thudbuster/B17 combo, IMHO. This will work better with the more aggressive set up of the Salsa Fargo w/ drop bars. The B66 is made and recommended with a more relaxed (upright) position on the saddle.

I ran my thudbuster st with a sprung b 67 for a week while waiting for a seatpost to come in. I found it to be too much.

I do run a b17 with my thudbuster st on my monstercross set up and it feels great.
