Maine, Eastern Trail question

This weekend I will be riding from Saco, Me to Nashua, NH. I would like to use the Maine Eastern Trail for most of the travel in Maine. Does anyone have any recent experience on the Eastern Trail? I will be on my LHT with 35mm tires, should I expect any problem with that setup? Can anyone offer any general information or advice on the trail?

Thanks for your help.
