My Streamliner DLX measures 3-1/8" outside to outside on the platform rails. I think the Streamliner Road DLX is the same, but am not positive. Hopefully someone will verify or correct that.

BTW, I consider the narrow platform a plus, but it may not be for some.

So it gets even more confusing with differences by country? I wish they gave at least the most relevant dimensions on their web page.

Your brakes can't be any lower than the rack on that bike. That's my wife's 13" mountain bike. The rack stay is an extra long one that is moved as far forward as possible on the rack and is bolted in place with a single bolt instead of the normal 2 bolts.

You might be able to adapt the Tubus adapter to a Racktime rack since they share some design features. The Racktime racks aren't as rugged as the Tubus but they are cheaper.

Mine has a wider platform (was called Streamliner DLX then when I bought it) -- same measurement on the top base as yours as I just did it now, but I know the road DLX is much narrower because that's why I bought the first one with the pump pegs.

I agree they should given some specs on the width of the base of each rack.

Anyhow, the Pro Tour Inox looks like a sweeter rack..

I ended up going with the Road DLX after seeing it in person at my LBS, I also got a good deal on it. Works well, trunk fits, seems sturdy and should be fine for the rest of this season. Thanks for all the help! Next year I'll probably throw this on the single speed and upgrade to a Tubus.
