I've decided to go with the Tubus Cargo Classis.
One last question, what's the maximum tire width with the Cargo?

I'm not sure with the 29s on your Ogre, but I just measured my LHT 700c with a cargo and I think I could get a 2" tire between the rack. That's just a guess as I haven't tried anything larger than 37mm.

2"= 50.8mm, pretty good guess on my part.

That's an impressive, and hard to belive, cargo capacity for the Axiom racks. And they are quite inexpensive.

Except for this one! :) http://www.axiomgear.com/products/ge...iner-disc-dlx/

I have two Axiom Journey racks, which have an even higher weight rating. They're definitely good racks for the "budget" category (a little over $30 plus shipping), and they have worked out just fine for me, but I just don't believe the weight rating. The Journey doesn't look to have stronger tubing or welds as other alloy racks I have seen, which tend to have 40 lb-ish ratings. That being said, I have gone grocery shopping with an Axiom Journey and large panniers, and everything worked fine.

Axiom Journey racks use a hand welded, heat treated 6063 tubing, oversized compared to Blackburn or Voyager racks, have a load rating of 154lbs and carry a lifetime warranty. I've seen a couple bent as a result of crashes, but have yet to see one broken, or to see any welds fail. Those are actually the racks I recommend to most cyclists.

Tubus Cargo is a great rack. the olny thing i would love to change is i' d like to have lower pannier mounting possibilities. Axiom Journey is also great rack for the price.

I had some lower rails brazed on a Cargo. On a 26" wheeled LHT with a Cargo for 26" wheel bikes it makes for a very stable load.

Nashbar has a low cost rear rack alternative (Blackburn EX2) on sale now.

I ended up with the Cargo Evo. I can't describe how happy I am with it. Light, rigid, easy to install, plenty of loading options and no clearance issues at all, even with 60mm wide tires. Note that the tire clearance is similar to the one on the chainstays
