Planing out Our first short tour in Colorado..

My wife and I are planing our first bike tour We are planing on three days from Woodland Park down 67 over to deckers, Sedalia, then south down 105 to Colorado Springs. Have You ever ridden any of this rout? Is there anything special we should pack, And are there any good camp grounds or B&Bs along the way? It doesn't look like there are many places to stay or camp along the way and we would like to do about 30 miles per day. Any tips would help.

No suggestions on the route as I have not ridden any of what you plan but if you have not heard make sure you pedal up Pikes Peak before the 30th of this month since you live in the springs. They are doing a trial run to see if bikes will be allowed up there at all times.

When I went through there it was mostly a mix of rooms and stealth, but I do recall staying at a forest service camp just out side of Deckers. The campgrounds in that area are pretty bare bones. A picnic table, water faucet, dumpster, and outhouse were pretty much the extent of the services (no showers). The camp was right on the river though.

Map with good info on campground locations:
