Better man than I. Will he be making his own clothing from the hides of his kills?

I'd hate to forgo Pub Lunches, along the way, not to mention a sponge bath
with morning breakfast , in Cafe WC occasionally.

That makes no sense

Sure isn't my cup of nettle tea. I'd miss the hunt for unique restaurants and recommendations from locals.

With a good cargo bike, he could carry a downed elk and go for weeks!

Neat idea, kinda goes along with trends of paleo diet, survivalism etc. Always thought it would be interesting to go on those educational hikes that teach wild food skills. Even for doing regular touring with bringing food & cooking probably lots of areas have little wild additions one could gather fairly easily, adding some vitamins & variety. Local paper had an article about an old woman who practically lived off wild foods.
