Portland to San Diego in July 2013 - Traveling musician ! Wanna join?

zup fellow adventurers!
I am planning a trip down the west coast. I will be leaving Portland Oregon on the 4th of July. I have an open ended schedule at this point and want to average around 60 miles a day to take in the sights and enjoy the ride. I did a 2 week ride (1000 miles - Atlanta Ga to Key West) last year and averaged about 80 miles a day, and it was pretty brutal as the Atlantic wind was against me the whole time-that and the heat was pretty intense. So this west coast route seems a somewhat popular route. I'll be couchsurfing some, camping a bit, and staying with friends a bit too. I will not be carrying a guitar but will be playing a handful of acoustic house shows on this trip as people will be providing guitars where I play. I would love to have some company on this trip so let me know if you wanna hang. The east coast is a waste land of sorts in my opinion when it comes to folks doing some exciting adventures. Everywhere I went last year in Florida folks were looking at me funny and wondering what the he l l I was doing.

I'm thinking 7 days from Portland To Eureka Area. (400 and some odd miles) -4th of July to 11th.
Hang in Eureka for a day or two.

13th head to the Bay area from Eureka. (300 miles ) should take about 5 days easy. Get to Bay Area on the 18th, hang there for 3 days...

Head out from Bay area on Sunday the 21st. heading to Los Angeles. About 400 miles. About 6 days at just over 60 miles a day.

From Los Angeles to San Diego is 150 miles. About 3 days of light riding.

So if you want to do any of this with me then let me know! If you want to check me out then google "Besides Daniel" as that is my artist name for the music I play. Heck, you can even play music with me if you want to!
