4000 Miles, a play about bike touring

I went to see 4000 Miles last night, a play whose main character is a cross-country bike tourist. It is set in the Manhattan apartment of the biker's grandmother and they are they two main characters. The biker is a bit lost in life, being rejected by his girlfriend and seeing his touring partner killed en route. He tells a few stories about touring, mentioned both shadow photos and wheel dipping.

It is a one-act play without much dramatic tension but lots of irreverent lines (mostly by the grandmother). It was worth watching, especially for a committed bike tourist and his wife.
