Rims

Hey, I'm biking across country on A Ride to Remember (www.aridetoremember.net) this summer. I'm currently putting my Surly Disc Trucker together but have been overwhelmed when it comes to buying rims. I'm looking for 700c, 36h, 6B Disc wheels. Any ideas on the more reliable companies?

hub choice? drivetrain brand and 'speed' count.. ?

If you visit your friendly local bike shop they can show some options ,,

Big Distributors like QBP have in house wheel assembly divisions,

and they may build a wheel reflecting their price of parts ,
which may be less than others can do for the same job, because they are a step up the food chain.
and get things in warehouse quantities

Are you looking for wheels or rims? Do you weigh 150lbs or 300lbs?

Look at the Pavement 6.1 series
