REI Flash Sleeping Bag

There have been a few threads on sleeping bags lately, but as we are in the "buying season," figured it couldn't hurt to start another. Just used my coupon and dividend to pick up an REI Flash sleeping bag. Really happy with REI brand products generally, so have high hopes for the bag.

Couldn't believe how light and compact it is compared to my old one. Bought the long size, and it's quite roomy for my 6'0" frame. Can't wait to try it out this season. The bag may even be UL approved at 25 oz. (UL = ultralight).:) I'll follow up with impressions after putting it to use in the real world.

I picked up a flash40 a few years ago, and have been using the REI flash40 for most of my summer biking.

not cheap by any means, but boy does that scrunch down to a small size.

I bought the REI travel sack for $60. I am going to use it in the hot summer months so I did not need a warm bag. It's well constructed, unzips flat and very lightweight.
