Conway trekking bike

I saw a woman's-frame bike sitting on a neighbor's lawn for sale. It has an aluminum frame, trekking handlebars, Shimano Deore rear derailleur, 9-speed cassette, triple front crank, V-brakes, nice rear rack, internally routed wiring for a lighting system driven by a small generator mounted on its own braze-on. The brand is Conway, designed by Hartje. Conway is a German company. It has a German dealer's sticker on it. Is anyone familiar with these bikes?
