I'm not Ronno6, he may chime in,

Jannd IDK , Inquire directly to them.. Jandd is not in the house here.. Jan ,nor Dean.. [surf music fans]

I got the KF Plate as a separate piece from WallBike when I got the Wire bag support, at the same time.

You likely have to do your own fabrication of the interior support structure yourself,

unless the Bag you are starting with already has it, of some sort, in there.

If you are referring to something inside the bag, if it is not already present in the Ortleib Bag, you would have to furnish it.
I would have to believe that some form of stiffener is present from Ortleib. These bags do not hold shape too well on their own.
Otherwise, the Jandd uses a pretty thin piece of plastic formed in a U-shape to stiffen the front as well as the back of the bag.

No I mean the plate or mating piece that snaps into the adapter. The Classic does have a fairly large piece of plastic and a mating piece that slides into the bracket on the handlebar bag. This could be used as a "stiffener".

I have only referred to the Jandd system.
That requires purchasing the mounting bracket for the bike, and a separate purchase of the mounting plate for the bag.
I have no knowledge of other systems, how they function, nor how they are purchased.
Good luck!

thankyou Mr Fiets, good to hear from someone who actually has both and knows the Ortliebs work with the KF. In the meantime, yesterday I finally found an Ortlieb mount here in Mtl, so just bought it, but glad to hear the KF works well with the series 2-5 O's (the new 6 series are probably different though)

Apologies for the late pics I promised.
We are in the process of packing up and moving house.
I thought I knew where to easily lay my hands on the camera.
Turns out it wasnt me that packed it which made it a little harder to find and a near heart attack when it wasnt where I thought I'd left it.
Anyway, here they are:

So just to clarify, my bag is an "Ultimate 5" to the best of my knowledge and the adapters are Ortlieb (on Ogre) and R&K (on Moulton) and the bag is completely interchangeable on both bikes.

Sorry but still confused. Did you have to add an adapter plate to your bag? If so, how did you attach it? Looks like it might be epoxied?

What is the bar the Ortlieb bracket is mounted to (first pic)?

I'm guessing, .. might be one of these?

I see a regular Ortlieb bag as sold . as #3 ..

1 is the Ortlieb bar bag mount , 2 is a KF bar bag mount.

No, thats how the Ortlieb Ultimate 5 comes from the factory.
It goes on fine to both the Ortlieb bar bracket as well as the Rixon and Kaul (KlickFix) with no additional fittings or adjustments.
