Two weeks of vacation coming up

This Saturday I will be riding my bike to a camping spot we rented for the season. It's 60 km from where I live, so not too far. The area is slightly more hilly than here so that makes for some great fun

After these two weeks I am planning to do some commuting once, maybe twice a week (110km round trip), so I need to get back into some serious shape, as I haven't ridden my bike for about two, maybe even three years. This winter I did some training and tried to ride the Ronde van Vlaanderen, which blew up right in my face and was a big failure.
So basically, I need to ride. Lots.

The upcoming weeks I will be doing some light touring around the area of the camping spot. I have 2 water bottles, loads of powder for making power drinks, and a bar bag. The bar bag is currently filled with a few essentials: an old rag, a bottle of chain lube, a small first aid kit and some tools and a spare inner tube. There's still some room for fruit (apples, banana's) and a few sandwiches.

I think I'll be having some great fun over there. The area is beautiful and pretty versatile. I'll snap some pictures with the cellphone, maybe even with the DSLR.

Just a bit worried still, that I might have underestimated the 60 km ride, even though it's not even that far. Another thing is that we're having another heat wave here, so might just be 'kinda' hot outside during the ride.

Anyone have some ideas on things I might forget during this kind of weather, and during the nearly 800 km (planned 800, might be off by 'a few') of touring I will be doing in the upcoming two weeks?

I will be staying a bit closer to the camping site, which is still over 200 km away from the border of Belgium. We're pretty close to the border of Germany though.

Cable ties and duct tape. Never leave home without both.
