You can load a Kindle for PC app (of sorts) onto your computer.

thanks... I look forward to reading about it... right now i'm in the middle of reading "across america by bicycle" it's some older ladies (50s) so it's different then others I've seen... I've read a few others in the last few weeks and the adventure intrigues me

also... for those that don't have a kindle/ipad... you can get the kindle app on an android phone/tablet, iphone and on a computer

There is no point in downloading it, even if you have a kindle. You can read the entire thing on the download page by clicking on it. It is only about two pages long. Like this thread, it is just a teaser to get you to buy it.

it gives you a lot more then the "look inside" option... about 300+ "pages" based on my computer screen @ 1600x900 and font size at 1/3 on the slider (amazon indicates that it is 248 pages)... so it's a reasonable sized read but it will obviously be incomplete and is to get you invested in his adventure so you'll buy the following portion of the book.. I can think of worse ways to spend $8.77 lol, it also looks like there is another version without the photos that is a bit cheaper... but honestly photos make this sort of adventure far more interesting

Hi people,

The paperback version has 4 photo sections, as does the standard kindle version. There is also a photo-illustrated version, with photos throughout the book on amazon. Here for USA and here for UK.

If you want to see all of my photos (over 3000!) you can do on my website here: www.tombrucecycling.com/photos. Check out the Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan ones - beautiful places.

Hope you enjoy part one of the book (which is about 50 pages in the paperback version).

Thanks a lot,
Tom

I read over the first two pages or so... then it all came together... A few weeks ago I spent way to much time reading though your blog that you'd converted to PDF...

as soon as I finish my current book I'll start reading this in full and I'm looking forward to the deeper insight over what was in the blog.

I only saw a few pages. My bad. Either way, I am not a fan of advertising in forums, even for a book I would read and enjoy. Not sure how I might have found this book otherwise, but enough said.
