Assuming we are limiting ourselves to a photo taken this year on tour, I chose this one from a hike I did from the Many Glacier campground in Glacier National Park on a rest day.

This was hard to do as I also rode up the Icefields Parkway, where the vistas are also incredible.
I am working on the journal for that tour. Previously, I posted a link to selected photos from the 4 week tour from Missoula, MT to Jasper, AB.

It is a beautiful area.

I like this picture from my tour a couple years back. This was at the beginning of my trek across the Trans Labrador Highway. At Red Bay the gravel road begins and you go through a gate into the unknown.

I looked through all my touring photos and didn't really find a standout, so I wouldn't call this a "best" but I think it's interesting.

It's a tie. My baby sister on a nice roller-coaster downhill in Mississippi, and my best bud heading to the Grand Tetons.

Not the best (there were way too many good photos), but certainly the most expressive. Going from Huancayo to Ayacucho, Peru. 2007.

A still image shot from my buddy's rear facing Go Pro. Me and another friend coming through the Big Savage tunnel on the Great Allegheny Passage. The red above my helmet is the LED from my Contour Roam helmet cam

Another one from my trip to Wichita Falls, July 2011. This was the most docile snake I've ever caught in the wild. It never once tried to nip me.

There are so many incredible tours and photos here. My hat goes off to all of you.
My contribution is from a spot called Jacob's Ladder in Ben Lomond National Park in Tasmania. The entire island is stunning but this spot stood out among the rest. My blog has lots more photos if anyone is interested.
Either way, happy riding!
