Touring in Jagungals/Kosciuzko/AAWT (Australia)

So I've got this route planned for mid December: https://bit.ly/1gqTqtI

Wondering if anyone here has done an touring in this area and can offer advice. In particular, whether bikes can definitely go along that section of the AAWT (Australian Alps Walking Track), what the surface is like etc etc.

I have a fair bit of experience with tough tours (did this earlier this year: https://bit.ly/1ioYdQM) but I'm not familiar with the NSW Alps, so open to all advice, suggestions etc.

I'm planning about 6 days for the trip, with a 7th available if needed.

I would suggest posting your questions/route ideas in the Australian Touring sub-forum at the Australia Cycling Forums. Few fair experienced riders familiar with area hang-out in the forums.
