cycling from Buenos Aires to Mendoza via Cordoba in Argentina - any advice?

Hi,

I am planning to cycle from Buenos Aires to Mendoza via Cordoba in Argentina in February 2014 - this will be my first trip to South America - does anyone have any advice for the best routes or things to see or avoid?

I will be BA for about a week working on my Spanish and then plan to head out from there..

I am quite a novice so this will be my first big cycle trip outside the UK!

Any advice?

Thanks!

Geoff

Contact some Argentine Cycling clubs and I suspect many towns have a visitors site on the net by now.

and ask at the CTC in England, being around for over 100 years they must have some background..
