Flexable Solar Panels **********

Has anyone had any luck with portable solar panels while on tour ??? ... just want to charge batteries for camera, cellphone etc.

Terry I have had the same idea. The flex panels might be a while in coming so I am building a simple and cheap solid panel set up to charge batteries while I ride on my BOB tralier. The panels are from Princess Auto and cost about 20.00 cnd

Coleman sells the I-Sun portable solar power system that produces 2.2 amps. You can link several of them together for more output and you can add a battery charger also. Plenty to power lights, charge a cell phone, and power an i-pod. Definitely in the plans for my next tour.
