Front rack for suspension fork
 

any recommendations?

Old Man Mountain racks have a good reputation.

you negate the suspension by hanging the extra Mass on the fork anyhow ..


of course which fork ?


Tubus made a great Rack, the Swing, but was unable to make it a Plug and play with all the fork crown variations, so Quit.

it left the fork itself free to move placing the load on the fork crown and braced above top headset race.



you could replace the Suspension fork and then you can use most-any rack on the suspension corrected rigid long blade fork
keeps the steering geometry as designed.


Lots better actually if the Sus-fork is low end and lacks a lockout.

yeah, I've been thinking about going with a stiff fork up front anyway. As it's a hard tail, and I use it occassionally for commuting....a stiff fork might be the best solution all around.

one of the flashes in the past , I think under 'control tech'.. was like a Moulton fork for big wheels..

4 tubes, with a link at the bottom .. Something like that would have been useful ..


rock shocks is reported to be working on an upside down fork , using the stiffness of the thru axles showing up im wheels now,

to transfer what was in the legs into the fork crown , but they are not doing it for touring cyclists gear hauling .
