For those who have broken in Brooks saddles, have you ever moved them from 1 bike to another? Does the ‘fit’ still seem right if your sitting position slightly changes?

I need a new saddle now but don’t need a new bike yet & want to make sure that I’m not shooting myself by breaking in with the wrong bike.

Im still using the one I got in 1975..

you need a thorough analysis of the frames as to the seat tube angle changes from one to another ..

then the seat post setback is another part of the saddle's relationship to the pedals.

I've done several swaps between bikes and not noticed any issues. I expect to make many more swaps as my bikes tend to last ~5yrs in my fleet and these saddles will last many decades.

I should note I find most Brooks saddles reasonably comfy out of the box [with a couple notable exceptions that had crazy stiff leather].

Agree with the others, switching bikes not a problem. I have several bikes and have switched individual saddles from one to another on several occasions without any problems.

But, if you were to switch from a bike with an upright position to a bike with more forward lean (more aerodynamic position) or the other way around, you might find a problem. I make that comment because I find that I can use a wider saddle when I sit more upright, but my touring bikes with drop bars need a narrower saddle, especially when I use the drops.

As fietsbob noted above, seattube angle may be different. On some of my bikes my Brooks is as far back as the seatpost clamp allows, but I have a different bike with a shallower sloping seattube, on that one I have the Brooks farther forward.
