cycle holiday in europe - recommend good companies?

Hi

I'm planning on spending 2 weeks cycling in Europe (prob UK or France) next year and wondered if anyone could recommend a reliable operator with good routes/standards of accomodation? I really would prefer a mid-priced company that 'does it all' - carries your bags, fixes the bike if necessary, etc. Anyone with personal experience (good or bad)?

Thanks!

What do you consider "mid-priced" for a two week, fully-supproted tour in Europe? Put another way, do you have a outer budget limit? If so, how much is it?

One of the back issues of Adventure Cycling magazine had an article about tour companies. I think it was early this year or the end of last.

If you're going to have a support vehicle then that's what adds cost.

This company re-introduced me to cycle touring and I highly recommend them but they are more the traditional type cycle tour where you carry your own luggage. They will come out however if you are having mechanical problems.

Very reasonably priced.

Cycling Holidays in France Tours in Brittany Families too!

Thanks for your input folks - I'll follow those leads.

To answer your question Indyfabz - I suppose up to about £2k for a couple of weeks touring (flights/ferries are always an extra, I gather). Actually, the subject came up at our local pub last night where one of our fellow drinkers had recently returned from a 'top to bottom' supported trip in France with a UK company (www.bikeadventures.co.uk). He had nothing but positive things to say about them - so I might well check them out too....anyone one heard of that outfit?
